Residential Services
MARC Inc.'s Residential Service, established in 1990, is a community-based supported living service for people with developmental disabilities. Depending on the needs of the individual, one could live alone in an apartment, with a roommate, or in a group home. MARC, Inc. currently supports individuals in twenty four apartments and two group homes throughout the community.

is individualized, basing the type and extent of support on personal needs.

Recreation
Safety Skills
Communication Skills
Social Skills

As our men and women work in the community, earning wages, a DDS rent subsidy can become unnecessary. Currently, 80% of all our residents have achieved their goal of self-sufficiency, saving Connecticut taxpayers thousands of dollars each year.
