MARC, Inc.'s Direct Care Provider Training enhances individual skills to provide positive, professional support for people with disabilities. Students will develop the skills, knowledge, and self-confidence to pursue a career in the human service area, enabling them to effectively assist others to access community resources.

Direct Care Provider Training includes 300 hours of:

* Human Service Skill Training and Development
* Human Service Agency Internship
* Job Search Skill Training
* Placement Assistance & Job Development

Upon completion of MARC, Inc.'s Direct Care Provider Training, you will earn state and nationally recognized certification in:

1. Standard First Aid
2. Adult CPR
3. American Sign Language
4. Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-ACT)
5. CT Medication Administration

You will also receive training in:

Public Service License (If Applicable)
Abuse & Neglect Prevention & Reporting Procedures
Person-Centered Planning
Agency Reporting & Policy Reviews
