On Thursday, November 21st, MARC, Inc. of Manchester unveiled the latest photography by Lynn Damon added to her collection, Faces of MARC. The evening coincided with MARC’s annual celebration of thanks to donors, volunteers, and people served. Lynn Damon first revealed Faces of MARC in 2015 and it showcases sleek portraits of MARC participants, artfully displayed on canvas and hung in the lobby area. In addition to new portraits added into the collection, a small heart signifying remembrance was added to the portraits of those who have passed on.
Guests walked the red carpet provided by East Catholic High School, where they enjoyed the selection of hors d'oeuvres by Bistro on Main, drank Prosecco from M&R Liquors, while in the elegant atmosphere of soft red lighting by Advanced Lighting & Sound Solutions. The room was filled with joy from people surrounding the white linen tables from Taylor Rental, along with the beautiful rose centerpieces by Park Hill Joyce Florist, making the evening simply beautiful.
The evening included the inaugurated of MARC’s newest Ambassadors, Marie P. and Tom M. (and Hugh B. who was not able to attend). The two new ambassadors assisted in presenting awards to CAST Children’s Theatre and Mary Roche Cronin for all they have done for MARC, Inc. of Manchester, as well as several MARC participants celebrating anniversaries.
