August 8th found MARC, Inc. holding our 20th Annual Golf Tournament at the Manchester Country Club. Over 130 golfers participated in this scramble-style tournament, with the top 3 teams ending up only separated by a single stroke!
The event was a great opportunity for some of the people we serve to get out and mingle with those who assist our cause. In fact, several of our Residential participants spent time on the 18th Hole, offering their putting services to teams. Many of the golfers commented that the interactions on the 18th were the best part of the tournament for them.
Lunch was provided by Manchester Monument Company and Schuster-Driscoll & Company while dinner was provided by the 21st Century Tolland Fund. The Community Sponsor was Shea’s Pizzeria & Sports Bar.
